Long-arm Quilting Service

The Wandering Line offers a professional lang arm quilting service from our shop based in Surrey. We use a Gammill longarm quilting machine to beautifully finish your quilting project to your specification. We have a wide range of backing fabrics available and we can use cotton, blended, polyester or bamboo quilt wadding, whatever takes your fancy.

Custom Quilting

Something different and unique for your quilt, charged by the hour and includes;

• Stitch in the ditch – allowing you to complete the “blocks” at home;
• Borders and Sashings – quilting these long areas with meandering patterns and, as above allowing you to complete the quilting of the “blocks” at home;
• Centre patchwork completed with either a lightly or heavily quilted design together with borders quilted in a complimenting pattern.
• Each block, sashing and border can be quilted in a unique design, which we can discuss, and will be as dense as you like but will compliment your patchwork.

Binding Service

We offer a 2½ inch double fold straight grain binding with mitred corners. We can either sew it to the front of the quilt for you to finish at home or we can hand sew it for you. Please see the prices below.

Please remember that your backing fabric and wadding need to be at least
